Call for Interest: Join the i2X External Advisory Board

The i2X External Advisory Board is opening for nominations. If you have spent years thinking about European digital health from the outside-in — as an industry leader, a policy expert, a researcher or a civil society voice — this is an invitation to bring that perspective into the project.

What the EAB does

The External Advisory Board provides independent guidance to the project. Members do not implement i2X — they challenge it. They review direction, test assumptions, surface blind spots, and help make sure the work resonates with the people and systems it is meant to serve.

The point of an advisory board is not to agree with the project. It is to make it better.

Who we are looking for

• Senior leaders from industry, healthcare delivery, public health or civil society
• Policy experts working on EHDS, digital health or related EU frameworks
• Academics with a track record in interoperability, health informatics or implementation science
• Practitioners whose day-to-day reality the EEHRxF needs to fit into

Commitment

• Two formal EAB meetings per year (hybrid), plus targeted consultations as needed
• Term aligned with the remaining project window (through to early 2029)
• All meetings minuted; recommendations actioned and tracked
